WORD VERIFICATION

We've had some tough games recently, so let's have a break and do a game that's a bit easier. I'll give you a word - in Gaelic - and you invent the meaning for that word and make up an sentence using it. In English, this word is actually one word, but in Gaelic, it's two words. Here's the word:

Calog Shneachta

When the game is over, I'll tell you the real meaning of this word. Remember, I'm not looking for the "real" meaning, I'm looking for the most creative meaning you can come up with. :0)

  1. Oh, and I probably shouldn't have capitalized either word, so you don't have to either. Sorry.

  2. Calog Shneachta: [kEl-og shnack-ta] n. Any after-school treat involving cereal, i.e., Rice-Crispy Treats, Kixx Treats, etc.

  3. Calog Shneachta is the new character who appears in the 5th Twilight book titled "Light of Day" and is revealed as Bella's REAL soul mate, after Edward and Jacob tear each other apart in a final battle. Calog is not a vampire, werewolf, or any other weird thing. He is an advanced scientist who has discovered the cure for vampirism, thus he and Bella live happily and normally ever after.

My son uses this service all the time. He orders his new sneakers through the Irish catalog, "Calog Shneacta" :)

  8. Well it's been over a week, so I guess I'll go ahead and call a winner. But before I do, I'll tell you the meaning of calog shneachta. It means "snowflake". :0)

I loved everyone's answers, but the one that really made me chuckle was Mr. Giggle's! Congratulations Mr. Giggles! You are the winner of this round!

I also wanted to tell you that they are running a commercial right now on tv that is suggesting cereal as an afterschool snack! Sounds good to me!
