Does That Make Me Crazy!?

Everyone has things that drive them crazy; Traffic, people, the neighbors annoying howling pets. In this game, you will identify the things that drive you crazy, then come up with a solution for them. Be creative, but be nice! For example, if a very annoying, talkative person drives you crazy, killing them is not an acceptable solution! A more creative solution would be to give them a gift of chocolate covered peanut butter cookies, with a little honey mixed in the peanut butter, to keep their mouth glued shut. Not the best of examples, but you get the idea. Happy Jousting!

  1. One of my pet peeves is idiot drivers. My husband and I have talked about this a lot and have come up with a solution:
Everyone is issued "Idiot Guns" when they get or renew their driver's licenses. These are not real guns that shoot ammo, but are more like Nerf guns - they shoot flags with suction cups. So here's the scenario: You're driving down the freeway and you see someone acting like an Idiot when they drive or,they are doing something Idiotic. All you do is get your Idiot Gun, roll down your window, and shoot an Idiot Flag at their car. It sticks to their car and is permanent until removed by a police officer. Then after awhile, when the police see too many Idiot Flags on peoples cars, they simply pull them over and give them a ticket for being an Idiot. :0)

  2. Dumbledore left Ron a deluminator in his will. He could click it to turn on or off lights, and later discovered he could click it to hear Hermione and Harry talking when he wasn't with them.
I think we need something similar - a de-effinator. We click on this when we are watching PG-13 movies, reading the latest novels, listening to hard rock, or merely passing by a group of teenagers at the mall. When operating it, it blanks out the f-word that seems to be so prevalent in society now.
A patent on this one could take care of us financially for the rest of our lives. :0)

  3. When I was a kid, I loved to watch, "Lost in Space". One of my favorite characters was their Robot. I don't even know if it had a name, but I loved it when Will (the young boy) would get in a precarious situation and the robot would come rolling over (he didn't walk, he rolled) with his arms flailing back and forth and saying, "Warning, Warning!!" I'm not sure if I'd like a full-size robot following me around yelling "Warning! Warning!" whenever I was getting into trouble or an unsafe situation, but maybe we could create an app for our cell phones that could do that! :0)

  4. One of my biggest pet peeves is people who text and drive! I can't tell you how many times in the past month i have been stuck at a green light because the person in front of me was texting and didn't see the light change! I always give them that half a second grace period, but then I honk.
So my suggestion is a device that hooks to the stoplight, and has a sensor that can tell when someone is texting. If they are, it sends a large electric shock to their phone! We could place these all along the freeway even!
Oh! And then we could develop the technology further to include people picking their noses while they drive!!!

  5. My biggest pet peeve is people who smoke in the parking lot, forcing the rest of us to walk through their cloud of noxious emanations! I think they should be issued Smokers' Dunce Caps. These would include a screen which would enclose the head and upper shoulders. An internal vacuum would suck up all their cancer stick fumes and filter them out of the surrounding air. Anyone walking past would only hear a slight hum, but would not smell anything. The smoker would be enclosed completely in their own little smoke-filled cocoon, and would no longer be an annoyance to the rest of us!
