Season's Greetings

It's that time of year when we begin to think of greeting cards more.  We don't just send Christmas cards this time of year, but we also sometimes send thanksgiving cards, or get well soon cards.  Your task is to 1) Decide an occasion to send a card.  2)  Come up with a creative verse for your card.  3) Do not automatically assume that Inklings will win.  ;)  I will be looking for creativity and humor.  The winning entry will be automatically sent to Hallmark company.  Just kidding, but seriously, I know you can write better cards than many of the ones out there!  :)

  3. We gather together at this time of year
To give thanks for our blessings
    That we hold so dear.
Faith, Home and Family first come to mind
Also our friends, who are always so kind.
But let's not forget that - win or lose,
The election is over, no matter our views!
    Happy Thanksgiving!

  5. 1) The "Sorry You Got Fired" Card.
    2) It seems that you were just hired,
And we know you have not retired,
But you sleep in all day,
    While collecting no pay,
So we are sorry that you were fired!

Now, go get a job and buy some toothpaste!
